Things that have excited me this week...

A round up of some ‘ooo yes' delights from the week. A collab, a sale, a football jersey (really), minis, jellies, new-ins, a must listen podcast & set your alarms for 7pm TONIGHT!

This week a few things have caught my eye / invigorated my brain and I thought here is the place to share them with you.

I love it when this happens, when interesting / useful / inspiring / or just down right lovely things, you were in no way looking for, come into your orbit… and you just have to tell someone about them. Enter YOU guys (or rather, guurls).

— SKIMS annual 30% off sale. I have yet to try SKIMS but hear (from multiple sources) it is genuinely a very very good product (whether you like Kim K or not). Sale ends 19th May.

After much deliberation I’ve gone for this wireless T-Shirt Demi Bra (in clay). And this dipped thong (since it was £10 at half price and a good solid thong is a wardrobe essential).

— Also, this episode of the Diary of a CEO Podcast I am putting on right now, I hear it’s 100% one to listen to. The guest is Emma Grede, SKIMS CEO. Amongst many other things. Named one of Forbes ‘Richest Self-Made Women in America’.

From East London to Bel Air. The power of determination, grit, knowing you’re smart, knowing you’re (more than) good enough, and working your ass off. Oh, and she has four kids. I NEED to know HOW she does it. B more Emma.

— Jelly and ice cream this weekend anyone? I’ll take these COS cut-out jellies | £95.

— Speaking of COS these wide leg denim shorts look like the perfect shape, course they’re sold out! But, if like me, you live in hope, sign up for a back in stock notification on your size.

— Whilst on a summer high, how about a mini dress… I really am lacking in short dresses for when summer is summering. And I need to tan those pins, increased cellulite + spider veins or not! (Maybe some self tan might help me with a leg glow-up, I need to try Bare by Vogue).

These two Rixo numbers might be my summer savours: Rixo | Leilani Mini Dress | £285 - I especially like the boho Daisy Jones vibes of this one (and now I want to watch that all over again, it has been 2 years. And Normal People, 5 years ago! And Mad Men, 10 years!!).

— This collab is so cool, for kids, Hotel Magique x Zara Kids - sadly only goes up to age 6, otherwise I’d have snapped up that room service tee! I’ve followed Hotel Magique for years (and years) and have a few of their prints, do check them out.

— Hotel Magique also have an Archive Sale with 50% off some of their art prints right now too. These pillowcases aren’t in sale but I’ve always thought I need them in my life.

— In case anyone else gets excited about a summer salad they can easily make for lunch then I give you THIS - radish, tuna, chickpea (always Bold Bean), radicchio - from

— Ahoy there, new hoops! Just launched on Thursday, I love these Sandra Alexandra | Buoy Hoops | £60 (sold as singles, add x2 for a pair). Bit different, non?

Also come in red, aqua and dark blue. All come in silver or gold option.

— Romeo + Juliet x Highsnobiety Football Jersey | £100 - There’s something about this I find really cool (and not because I’m from the North East and it looks like a Newcastle shirt, our family was always Boro till I die).

You can just see the cool crowd in East London sporting this, with track shorts (vintage Adidas / Ellesse). Or, I might have to go a bit Carrie B and add heels, and perhaps a sheer midi skirt, or a sparkly sequin mini. Sports luxe options!

— Another new in this week I’ve fallen in love with… Sleeper | Gaia Cotton Midi Dress in Tiger | £300 (there’s also a one shoulder top version).

— I’ve also happened across a Zara version with cutwork embroidery for £39.99 (which to be fair do look rather good). And matching shirt | £45.99.

— When I said in the subtitle ‘set your alarms for 7pm’ this is why… Cawley Summer Set launching! My god, I fell in love with this at first glance. Japanese cotton with silk dupion binding (in either red, black or navy).

There’s matching shorts too, wide leg, just above the knee. Perfection.
