10/06/2025 - Need I say more than Sample Sale? I'm planning a summer one this Friday, read on for details (and the odd sneak peek).

A little quickie today with just a few ‘must tells’ as I’m sorting / snapping / prepping to do you a summer SAMPLE SALE this week!
— So, firstly, yes you read that right, I have a selection of (20+) LOVELY things of mine to sell at BARGAIN prices.
Think fun, floral and fruity dresses, a pair of pink Sleeper feather party PJ’s (the dream for summer / holidays in this colour), stripes, denim, plenty more in new / good as new condition, the odd necklace (Wald and Anni Lu) AND three handbags (Anya Hindmarch, Hill & Friends, Mulberry).

— Oh, and I forgot to add there, I’ll also B selling a pair of Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats, anyone else remember those? Black velvet, gold embroidery. I was OBSESSED with these (saved up vigorously for many months… they were £465 new!).
They’re a size 38 (UK 5), barely worn, good as new (just the bottom of the soles looks used, as all shoes do even upon one wear).
I’ll be selling for a delicious bargalicious £105 - holla now (email me) if you want them first!
— If you’re local to Hackney Wick you may have noticed a new (and the one and only in the Wick) Reformer Pilates studio open - it’s strong+bendy (aptly named name of the business), it’s fun, it’s friendly and, obviously, it’s fitness. But you’re lying down. And they’ve got art to look at. And a small studio dog (Gary).
— Did you know CÔTE have a home delivery / meal kit offering? I had no idea! Ordering a French breakie box for Father’s Day (don’t worry Dad doesn’t read this). And now I’d rather like these croissant napkins for moi!
— ILIA Beauty’s annual sale, there’s 20% off sitewide! I’ve been sucked in by Instagram feeding me this ad… I do usually skip past them, but have genuinely wanted this product for a while. And I am a sucker, I know I am!
— That YSÉ crochet dress I mentioned in Sunday’s crochet dress edit… the one I said I’d ordered. She arrived this week, and it’s love! Super comfy, super easy, I recommend! And I will now B trying the lingerie (and swimwear) from this brand too.
— This necklace I screenshot at le weekend from my idol Laura Jackson, I’m obsessed with finding it!! Any helpers? I feel I’ve searched every brand I can think of, Googled every variety of description and tried Google image search (never works so well for me with jewellery / niche things).
Right, best get prepping all those SAMPLE SALE insta stories (believe me, it takes days)… B warned there’s some very EXCITING things!

Laura Jackson’s necklace is Tilly Sveaas. It’s the silver and gold lariat. I think she’s perhaps attached another something to it which is confusing the image search?! But I know it cos she wore it recently with the Shrimps spotty top and I went down a similar rabbit hole and eventually found it (and then bought it in gold myself). Thanks for your Substack - I’m a big fan x
