What I've found this week...
That necklace we all wanted to know about, SALE Saks Potts dream coat, hearts, smiles, and croissants, tiger trainers, never ending candles, bow bouquets, carnation craze and a martini Menorah. Phew!
Hi! Turns out I have found quite a few lovely things I am wishing for this week, I told you I was starting to get a spring in my step! Paid Subscribers there’s a hint in the below to the first of your THREE February incentives too 😉 (which will be coming this Friday).
I won’t delay as there’s plenty more of my chat within the below, you know I love to natter. Okay, lets go!
Wavy Baby
I finally found my perfect wavy mirror! I’m saying wavy, rather than scalloped, as I declared scallop edges were a bit country core for my home style… maybe I was wrong!
£199 Scallop Edge Mirror at Inside Story £199 (sign up on their site for 10% off). Size 60cm x 80cm. I’m going to hang this width ways above our mantle.
Be My BFF
You will be mine after I remembered the brand of this necklace, I knew it was in my brain somewhere! You know one of those you can’t quite get to, no matter how hard you try, then when you stop trying you suddenly have that Eureka moment! Christ, I sound old.
Emma Milne Watson is the name I was looking for!
I love this one above as it reminds me of the one I saw Laura Jackson (my icon) wearing on holiday recently (it had the dove on!), which was what triggered my brain search to remind myself of who made these necklaces!
The designer, Emma, does make to order. I think you can DM her on Instagram, but she does have a small selection of ready to go pieces at just a few niche stockists. I do like this butterfly one I have found in sale at Cutter Brooks.
Tiger Trainers
£80 - Onitsuka Tiger EDR78 Trainer Mustard / Berry
I’m sure you’ll have seen influencers running around in these yellow tiger trainers (with black stripes). I did love the yellow but didn’t want the exact same ones I keep seeing insta people in… enter the yellow with berry!
I hadn’t seen this colour-way until just last week! My size (5.5) were sold out but I signed up for back in stock notifications and they came back at the weekend - so keep an eye out! Some core sizes have sold out again now but I think they’ll be back (sizes 4 and below, and 7 and above, they do have).
Foxy Lady
Firstly, this colour combo! Hello Spring! Secondly, a spring coat has been playing on my mind. Thirdly, you know I love Zeena, my clothes twin (as we like to call ourselves). Forthly, you know I love (and have in green) this Saks Potts Foxy Coat. Fifthly, it is a RARE TREAT if you ever find one in SALE.
£609 - Saks Potts Foxy Shearling Coat Pigeon Blue at House of Fraser. Was £1,210 NOW £609
If I didn’t already have this in green I would be all over this! Actually, my green one I bought thanks to Zeena.
You know I love a story… I’ll take you back to April 2023 when Zeena kindly (oh, so very kindly!) alerted me that this was in sale at End Clothing (a site I’ve mentioned before on here). However, it just so happened I had just arrived in France that very same day, for the first day of a two/three month European road trip.
Me and my husband (Sam) had planned this as a major break for the year, something we had always wanted to do, but never could before with constantly working ourselves to the bone / me solely running a business for the past 6 years. We got married in Covid 2021, never had a big wedding or a honeymoon, and had always dreamt of taking some time out and doing this. Yes, we took our dog too, hence the driving! I’ll do you a proper post on this trip soon (one takeaway, don’t think it’ll be relaxing / burnout recovery. It was not!).
Anyway, back on track with the coat! Obviously, I couldn’t let go the only opportunity I’d ever known to finally get the green dream Saks Potts coat in SALE (otherwise it was always very unaffordable to me). I’d wanted this coat for years, but wouldn’t be home for months to receive a delivery!!
Enter the biggest (and sweetest) enabler @heartzeena who offered to have this sent to her address so she could store this for me until I was back home (and very ready for a coat in July 😂). I shall never forget it my dearest clothes twin (surely Z and B needs to become a series? Twinny and Susannah?).
I Have This Top In The Dress!
Yes I do, and I love it so much I’m so tempted by the top too for summer. £175 - Saks Potts Anouk Top. Was £249 NOW £175.
I also saw a woman in the skirt version of this at the weekend, worn with a loose white shirt, and it looked so good. Which already got me thinking maybe I would like the top to wear with jeans and chunky slides / flip flops come summer…
I also found the top here and here. The latter is a US site, so customs apply, but they do also have the Foxy Coat on sale in pink and green.
Curate and Rotate
THAT Rejina Pyo Trench that I’ve shown you before on here (it was on my first sale edit, but wasn’t much off at 20% discount, making this £895 to £715). But now it’s approaching trench season I’m still thinking about her… yet still cannot afford her!
BUT! I know preloved platform Curate and Rotate HAVE ONE coming this week. Usually their new stock drops are on a Sunday, but I think there is one this Thursday (tomorrow!) at 2pm to coincide with their new website launch. I’ll race ya for this!
Another 10+ of my picks below if you’d like to see more 😊 and know where they’re all from. I’m sourcing, so you don’t have to!
