The surprise dress you HAVE to try and the new collection I'm VERY excited about...
That under £70 dress I can't stop wearing (and people can't stop complimenting, it's true!). And the prettiest pinks from one of my favourite small and slows.
Hi! Firstly a big THANK YOU to everyone who shopped my Instagram Sample Sale on Friday, I'm so glad I managed to get the early access newsletter to you subscribers in here first (this worked well for me, and I think for you!).
SECONDLY! I’ve found some more wares as I know a lot of you missed out on pieces (I’m sorry! I wish I had more sizes / multiples of the same things but this is all my personal wardrobe). Look out for updates on my stories IG: studio_b_fashion, it’ll all be the same format as last time…
SAMPLE SALE ROUND TWO this Friday!
And back to today’s writing - I’m juggling right now trying to do a few things at once but I still want to get this goodness (and the goods!) to you in here 😊
This is a newsletter of two halves really, a little…
— High vs. low.
— Small brand vs. a place I wouldn’t usually find myself.
— A long time known and loved vs. new to me.
— Handmade with love and ex-designer fabrics vs. a bit of a barg really!
But who says we can’t have both? I like what I like and I always go with that, and if I LOVE something I’ll wear it on repeat, which in my mind kinda makes it a bit better for the earth (fact of the matter is it’s already out there in the world whether I buy it or not).
Case in point the under £70 dress I have had three weeks and have already worn approximately seven times.
I’d never heard of this brand, but after seeing Natalie (above) in this dress I immediately had to track said dress down… and try her. I was so surprised by the price, and even more surprised when she arrived and I was actually pretty impressed with the quality / shape / sizing.
Okay, VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SHAPE.
It is a GREAT dress. Looks, and feels, way more expensive than it is.
That bodice, the skirt, the straps, 100% give me Rejina Pyo vibes - examples below - God I love both these dresses but £££ - Erin (green) £650 and Erica (pink) £850.
And the lace up back (I want to say corset but if I ever hear the word corset this puts me right off) has a touch of Annie’s Ibiza about it (in a good way).
I seriously am considering buying this dress again, with the idea to dye her a dusky red or black, since it only comes in the one cream colour - YES I LOVE IT THIS MUCH!
I can’t in all honesty say there’s much else on this brand’s site that I would give the time of day (that sounds so harsh, I’m laughing at myself 😂 who am I, Anna Wintour? But hey, we’re here for the honesty!)… although this same style dress does comes in a mini in multiple colours (pale pink, red, white) which I am strongly considering.
And this £50 crochet top is calling to me for a late September holiday (although I keep swearing no more pure summer stuff now!).

Okay, and on to my second love of the week! A very different kettle of fish (or cloth, should I say? English sayings are weird aren’t they) but one I am all in a fluster over… it’s that dream, dream, DREAM candy pink.
I’ll take everything in this colour please. I really do think this will work for autumn too, pink is for any season! But seriously, teamed with darker denim, burgundy or brown (imagine with some cords if you will) it is beaut.
BUT don’t worry if pink’s not your bag (who even are you?) this brand is made to order and you can select your silk swatch if you so wish.
There’s also plenty of other beautiful styles on their too - checks, floral, organza, voluminous, gingham, broderie anglais.
The blue check has got me too - as has essentially everything on here - it’s just so special to me when pieces are handmade in limited edition fabrics. ORIGINAL!
Want to know where to find her? Brands and links (for all mentioned in here) revealed below for Paid Subscribers. Thank you! x
