The new collection that surprised me so much I added 12 items to basket

By a British brand we all know and fall in, and out, of love with. Right now I'm VERY pleasantly surprised. Want to see my picks? Leather skirts, suede boots, burgundy boho, velvet vixen, sheer siren.

Some of you may instantly know who I’m talking about from that brief heading, some of you may guess from the below styling / imagery, but let me tell you, it surprised me to find so many pieces I instantly added to basket when I browsed on Tuesday on the *train.

*A rather hungover browse on a 2-hour train journey York - London, after a wedding the day before, which was so much fun you totally forgot it was a Monday (naturally we got carried away, and why not, when are Monday’s usually so fabulous!).

That’s not to say I bought all 12 pieces in my basket may I add. I don’t need that much new stuff. Plus, I tend to get carried away with *hangover shopping… can be a curse but can also be creative genius! Some of my best purchases have been made when my brain can’t be bothered to try and stop me 😂

*Seriously, it helps me recover! That, and I get a weird obsession to clean the house. And a Greggs sausage roll and a coke is always a must.

But I would take all 12 if I could… don’t you sometimes think it would be fun to sell your entire wardrobe (well, almost, bar the key 20% you truly adore and wear on repeat) and start again?

I do occasionally dream of this - I like to think I’d create a capsule of 9 super super key pieces for each season that I’d mix, match and marvel over. I’ll manifest that (and I don’t know why 9, it just sounds like the perfect number).
