Summer shopping / holiday prep mode

Summer. Holiday.

This is the mode we’re living in right now, I hope everyone gets a little trip away, but if not, the glorious weather has made London feel like an al fresco sun drenched island (well, city, but one can dream).

It’s been Costa del Blackheath / Greenwich for my little local pocket. With a bit of Peckham (for the rooftop refreshments, Franks and Forza) and Deptford thrown in (Jazu for the mezcal negroni, Sodo Pizza - great secret garden, The Dog & Bell pub, Marcella always).

That is until I head back to our favourite small summer island - which I vowed not to return to this year as it’s a big ole world out there - alas, we love it.

And it’s easy to organise when busy / stressed. This year we’re spending half the time with two great friends, so there’s the element that makes it a bit different to previous years!

I’ve got a week until boarding time (London City → Ibiza → Formentera) which always leaves me panicking a bit for summer shopping / finishing off that SUPER CHIC holiday wardrobe… not that I need anything (I have extensive beachwear from over the years)…

… but you know when you want to pack THE BEST suitcase possible?

** Adding here this tote just arrived yesterday and it’s way smaller than I thought but super cute! And the Ponza Bikini Top is so good IRL (that blue!) I may now have to order the bottoms too…
