My god have I got a juicy TREAT to show you!

Dear Lord this dress!! And the daisy denim!

I did have a ‘happy International Women’s Day show yourself some love’ post drafted for yesterday with a little special offer… but I’ve had a gazillion ‘women’s day’ emails and discounts, and it’s just a bit meh (in my opinion).

Also, my contact at the brand for the special offer I mentioned above (jewellery brand, my green heart ring for those who’ve asked me about this before) has since left the business, and the brand have now gone a bit quiet. So I’m still working on that!

To be honest this threw me a little, as this week’s been a bit all over the place, you know when time just VANISHES and you feel like you’ve barely made any progress? One of those weeks. Which I hate.

I hate not feeling productive or completing tasks I had planned to, including all those life admin ones that whirl round my brain: order dog food / we need a new shower curtain (mould) / the hoover’s broken / send birthday cards / book dinner for my husband’s birthday this weekend / collect Vinted parcels / send back jeans that don’t fit / tidy house / throw out dead plants / washing / reply to decorator… you see what I mean? Oh feck, send Mother’s Day gift!

I’ve mentioned these Second Stories caps before and I will continue to do so. Too many appropriate slogans!

But you know, breathe, move on, and sometimes that’s life ain’t it.

So! I did start working on another post on Thursday instead, but I’ll B honest (we’re all friends here aren’t we) I didn’t have time to finish this. Usually I’d work into the night to do this but I just ran out of steam last night… and I didn’t want to rush something and not make it my best for you.

However, sometimes the things that suddenly catch my eye come most naturally to me and can be some of my best finds! THANKFULLY I saw one of those yesterday, from a small handmade French brand I’ve followed (and loved) for years, which has been on my list to tell you about anyway ❤️

The timing couldn’t B more perfect as this is a newly launched style that’s GOING LIVE on their site at 9am SUNDAY (tomorrow).

Sunshine makes the strawberries grow

BIG statement here… but this may be one of my favourite dresses I’ve seen in a long time! Strawberries just scream spring / summer don’t they 🍓 and are undeniably joyful!

Yes it comes in two styles - both midi’s, both oversized, the one above and this one with long sleeves (looks reminiscent of the Stella Nova Loan Dress if you know the style, I sold loads of this dress when Studio B was my online store). The daisy denim gilet I of course love too, from the same brand.
