Shopping Secret... love, dedication, delight

It's the fruity necklaces and the chunky beaded bracelets for me. The octopus is mine! Oh, and the pingu, the pony, the tulip, the tiny radish and the raspberry.

My naked pale wrists are starting to stare at me despairingly longing for some colour; alas I cannot give them a healthy tan (even if it does finally warm up here in the UK it takes me months to tan) but I can adorn them in a rainbow of happy bracelets!

Absolute added bonus that these bracelets are elasticated - no fastening you can’t do on your own and struggle round in awkward arm / wrist positions determinedly trying to fasten for half an hour. Just me, no?

Strangely, I only seem to wear bracelets, or beaded necklaces, in summer through to autumn. Once winter hits I’m always in long sleeves and my go to gold (and nowadays a smattering of silver) jewellery.

But I’ll wear colourful clothes all year round and actually only like black (on myself) in the form of a cotton or linen summer dress or set… which I will adorn with rainbow jewellery.

Which brings me to this extremely lovable small brand.

Oh gawd which fruit and / or veg to choose! I love a few of these layered together too. Ooo, you could go for what’s in season, depending on the time of year.

All made to order in Switzerland by one wonder woman (any woman / man / person running a business single handedly, or with hands to help, is a wonder if you ask me. Having done it, loved it, hated it, continued, cried, calmed and then quit, I salute you!).

I swear I used to have bracelets similar to this as a kid. Nostalgia is that magic ingredient isn’t it. And I do tend to want most kids clothing I come across in adult sizes 😂

Here’s to small brands creating amazing things that bring us delight, finding these did make me break into a huge smile. Especially the octopus… and the pony, the penguin (pingu), the stars. Oh, and the fruit n veg! The chilli is the one for spicy marg lovers.

Naturally, I was drawn to the fish necklace too (if you’ve read some of my other articles on here you’ll know I’m partial to a fishy dishy necklace. I may have shown you a few options before).

Argh, it’s all SO CUTE! We all need a little fun in our summer wardrobes don’t we and I can just imagine enjoying the beach bar in June (not counting down the days or anything) that teeny bit more as I rattle with summer beads.
