My Little Black Book...
Party shoes that keep your feet in princess condition (and make a bit of a Terry de Havilland dupe)
Since I’m feeling like a bit of an autumn refresh, and this Substack has been going for almost *a year now (can you believe it, I can’t!) I thought I’d update some of my titles / sections. So! What was my ‘Shopping Secrets’ will be renamed ‘My Little Black Book’.
Because, as the subtitle of this Substack suggests, this is my ‘directory of lovely things’ and all my shopping secrets really are my little black book of brands / stores / makers / people who create something special and do amazing things.
I’m not suggesting you ‘shop’ them all (that’s sort of why I wanted to change the name) but I 100% want to share with you my secrets… my little pink and red and yellow and green and blue… my rainbow book if you will!
*And I’ll give you my honest thoughts, feelings and progress on Substack once we reach this year milestone, which will B around mid-December. DISCLAIMER: I’m not rich yet 😂 (far from it).
Right, back to it, and have I got a treat for the feet!
If you haven’t heard of this brand, then you should have, honestly, it’s probably one of the most raved about within one of my small circles of friends (former fashion work friends, so they know a good thing when they see it / wear it / slip their feet into high heeled comfort).
It’s one of those brands I probably wouldn’t have spent much time looking at myself, based on their branding / styling / online imagery… it’s not especially cool looking.
And please do ignore the metallic bags, and some of the boot styles make me want to throw up a little (I’m dramatic I know). Whilst I’m being neggy I’d love to condense the selection on the site too.
Okay, STAY WITH ME! The party shoes are where it’s at!
I hear (from my credible sources I mentioned above) these are the most comfortable heels known to woman. And there’s so many pairs I LOVE.
Velvets, metallics, all block heels (re: comfort) in mid or high heights, and so many colour options!
