My current favourite Instagram account

Surprisingly it’s a foodie find. I know, as if we haven't had enough food already at this point during Christmas... but PLENTY of restaurant inspo for the New Year!

Hello sleepy heads.

Who knows if anyone is checking their emails right now, or feeling up for any digital reading… I for one am fully on board with the vision of being snuggled in a cosy fireside chair, book in one hand (no phone), glass of port in the other.

Alas, I don’t have a real fire and Mabel (our whippet) takes up the cosy sheepy texture boucle armchair in our house (not ideal it’s cream, but she’s a princess).

So! In case anyone else has a leetle cabin fever and fancies some intel from the outside world, I thought I’d get this one out to you today: ‘my favourite new instagram account’.

Well, it’s not new, but I only recently discovered this account a couple of months ago and I can’t stop watching these quick fire interviews. I don’t know where I’ve been as I love restaurant recommendations from those in the know (food critics, chefs, celebs) and this is essentially what this is… I give you TOPJAW.

Short, snappy, to the point and witty! Each video is a 90-second fire round foodie interview with someone GREAT - it’s cute, it’s funny, it’s honest. I love it.

*Latest one I just saw today with Andrew Garfield (see what I mean when I said cute just above there).

I don’t actually watch that many videos on Instagram (and I’m not on TikTok, nor do I ever plan to be), I’m old school original single photo Insta generation! But, this really is my cuppa tea.

Not that anyone will be thinking about food right now after all the Christmas stuffing (excuse the pun) but here’s a few I’ve now got on my list / TOPJAW jogged my memory about…
