Is this the best jumper ever?
Daily delights I just had to share, and actually I've got TWO 'best jumpers ever' (from two different small brands).
Hello sweater weather season! Finally!
Yes, this one is bloody expensive, but I just had to show you this knit after I’d seen it on Violet Dent (Cabbages & Roses creative director) earlier this week. Her dreamy cottage core London home adds to the cosy effect, but the jumper is THE knit I’ve gotten most excited about this season!
I discovered this French knit designer a couple of years ago and have always wanted a piece!
A proper winter warmer, can you imagine if you’re going skiing? ❤️ (I’m not, as I’m not posh / rich / I’ve been to a dry ski slope once as a child. Saying all that, I would love to go one year… more for the Après-ski).
And wouldn’t this make the best Christmas jumper you’ve ever seen? No novelty, and all the nice.
This really is a love-for-lifer you’ll bring out EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. To be honest, I’d wear this all winter long, ski season runs well into the new year - Michaela Buerger | Aspen Jumper | £475.
At last it’s started feeling a little chillier in London town and I am so ready to embrace it! After trying to, since it’s November, but mostly sweating in a jumper and a coat ten minutes after I’ve left the house (might be my fault, I do love layers).
And it’s a good thing I’m feeling ready as our daily forecast says we’re dropping to 4 degrees and under next week (I may regret saying I was ready for a cold snap).
So, who’s ready to hit the slopes? Or, you know, wrap up for a walk in the park.
Slow Love | Ski Club Jumper | £385 - This knit! Look at the back too. Oh gawd, maybe this one is my favourite!
Whilst we’re on the winter warmers I’d take this scarf too, another beauty from the Slow Love’s new collection - doesn’t it give you those American High School / Collage vibes?
It’s merino wool, and made with almost as much yarn as one of their jumpers, so you can imagine how chunky / cosy / I-never-want-to-take-it-off this feels! Another piece that’s less trend, more treasure forever - Slow Love | College Scarf | £185.
And if you’re fancying a bit of festive knit (without needing to down multiple sherries before splashing the cash. God, I do love a sherry) I just saw this COS number in store yesterday and was rather taken with it.
COS | Fair Isle Merino Wool Jumper Red / Cream | £135 - The quality was lovely and I do always enjoy a contrast back.
That’s all folks, I’m too excited about these to focus any more (genuinely! You know that butterflies feeling?). Right! Who’s off for a mulled something?
Happy weekend, B xx
Just came here to answer your initial question - Yes it is.
