I'm back... with those shoes!

There's more too, the denim is to die for, and don't look at the dresses!

Hello and happy sunshiney week!

Wow, how GLORIOUS is it to finally feel some bright, warm, sunshine (let’s ignore the breeze) and it feels so timely as this is my week or two for sitting in the garden avec Mabel (if you know whippets you’ll know sunbathing is life).

If you read last week’s post you’ll know I had surgery last Thursday so am on strict instructions to rest.

If you’re a paid subscriber you’ll know what for (boob related) and I’ll give you an update next week with a few more details (going back tomorrow for my week check up / first proper look), just in case anyone else has something similar coming up.

Things I'm excited about this week... including surgery

But first thoughts, the NHS is full of lovely people, anaesthetic is not scary (if I could fall asleep like that every night!), do hydrate hydrate hydrate, it will initially be painful but very manageable (again, not scary) and each day will be better.

Oh, and wash your hair, since I’ve had to have my husband do mine over the bath (can’t get the dressings wet) which resulted in leave in shampoo and conditioner. Where is JVN when you need him!

On that note, I couldn’t decide what to bring you this week as I’m feeling a little out of sorts - I’m totally fine, but you know when you feel like you’ve been on another planet for a week (but, sadly, not on planet holiday!).

Which, actually, does sort of feel like a good thing as I never usually embrace downtime… and I kind of feel different i.e. peaceful, chilled. Is this what physical (and mental) rest feels like?

Don’t worry, I’m not totally transformed in the brain and I am getting a little bored, so thought I’d take it nice and easy this week by telling you about this FAVOURITE NEW BRAND discovery of mine.

A mood board from said brand. DIVINE.

And next week I might do a little Collagerie type edit, as I realised how much I love them. It’s nice to write a bit more but sometimes we just want the goods, am I right?

All in all, plenty of good stuff to come and I’m starting to feel summer in my bones (or should I say, in my boobs?).

Karen “My breasts can always tell when it’s gonna rain” - any Mean Girls fans remember this?

Okay, so I’m continuing below with THOSE SHOES I gave you a sneak peek of last week, but, there’s more, so much more.

I J’ADORE THIS BRAND!

Would you like to know this beauty of a brand?

Brand and links continue below for Paid Subscribers - I’ve sourced so you don’t have to! For just £1.50 a week you’re buying my experienced fashion buyer’s eye (and brain). Who needs to bother scrolling Instagram / endless online stores when you have moi? And I’m less than a coffee shop cuppa! I hope you understand the work that goes into this each and every week and that your subscriptions keep this newsletter coming. Big thank you, B x
