If you buy ONE necklace this spring / summer

There's something fishy going on... 🐟

Okay, I’ve leaped ahead here to thinking of sunnier times but I had to instantly show you this piece of TREASURE from my little multicoloured book (to those new here that’s the same thing as a little black book, but I don’t wear much black).

This just brought me so much joy, in my time of need… not being dramatic at all there!

But, after being sick with flu all last week and still feeling wiped out this week (that lovely cough just lingers on doesn’t it), combined with the weather being utterly shit and *grey, this was the injection of ‘OMG I LOVE IT’ I needed right now!

* The weather has the ability to transform London… and the grey does it no favours. No favours AT ALL.

Fish scream summer to me, I mean, they don’t have to, and I would totally wear this now too - my current go to is the *Alighieri Fish Bone Necklace my husband gave me (under direction) for Christmas.

*I just learnt how to pronounce this brand (I think): a-lee-ghieri. Takes me back to the days when I worked at Matches and I pronounced the French brand Stella Jean exactly like that, who knew it was Stella John (said Jehan in that french way).

But, I have such strong summer visions for this necklace… I really would wear it none-stop, with everything! It’s an investment piece, but if you buy ONE piece of jewellery this spring/summer I’d make it this!

’s instagram; actually it’s her mother’s necklace and she made it would you believe (Mom 100% needs to sell these! I’ve even thought of the brand name ‘Mother Fish’. Yes, I’m available for hire 😂).
