Hej Copenhagen!

Third visit coming up and this time I've made a list! Think small shops, independents, THE archive/outlet store, vintage interiors, murano lamps, restaurants, areas, to-do's and swimming with wine!

The sun is shining and I am feeling SUMMER!

Summer sun, for home or away, is always dee-light-ful but it always gets me thinking of holidays…

I am in fact going away this week, for which I feel very unprepared, despite the fact it’s long been in the diary as our trip is ending in a year overdue wedding in Sweden (first comes love, then comes the baby in the golden carriage, then comes marriage - as is the way when you’re in your mid-30’s. And ya know, it’s a modern world).

But this isn’t our summer / beach holiday more of a city break… hej Copenhagen!

One of my fave cities, which I haven’t been back to since 2022, when I was there for August fashion week as a buyer. A great trip. So many fond memories / I kinda felt like I’d made it as I was invited to fashion shows (yes, that is my shallow self 😂).

We’ve got 3 days in the Danish motherland before we hop on the train over to Malmo and Lund for the midsummer wedding festivities! For once I’ve written a list of brands / stores / restaurants / areas / things I want to do, rather than just keeping it all fizzing in my head, inevitably forgetting some of it whilst I’m there.

RIGHT! I must pack, so here’s some of my outfits from last time (3 years ago), some of which I think I’ll be re-packing as this jogged my memory of how much I loved these! (All bar one dress I still have, one I sold in my insta stories sample sale over the weekend!)

Plus, I’m giving you my grand ole list of everywhere I want to shop, see (or sea), and sample!

A few outfits first to break up all the wordiness (is that a word?) and, you know, just because they’re fun!

Sea NY Gitte Dress, Stine Goya satin mules, Frankie Shop bag (my friend literally has the same one, in multiple colours, from a market in Thailand, for like £4).
Vintage sunnies, Faithfull dress, Anni Lu pearl necklace, MM6 chunky sandals.
Stine Goya Imperio Sequin Dress Coconut Sparkles - I found one here at 70% off!
Travel outfit, I love these shorts and have been wearing them all last week! Resume shorts, Stine Goya knit vest, Gestuz rose print denim shirt / jacket.

Okay, now on to my (long) list! Some of these I’ve been to before, some I haven’t, but I shall report back with a big post after this trip!

SHOPS (duh)

— Mr Larkin - my fave!!

— Sissel Edelbo

— Pico store - hair clips.

Continues below for Paid Subscribers with the rest of my Copenhagen list - more small shops, the archive/outlet store you’re going to need to go to, vintage interior must knows, plenty of restaurants and areas / none shopping things I want to do! Oh, and open water swimming with sauna… and cafe/bar! Click to upgrade if you fancy, it’s only £1.50 a week (what’s that, the price of an ice lolly?). Tak! B x

PS - I genuinely do think this is a really good list (if I do say so myself)!
