Have I told you about...
A nice juicy list of things I like / good things to click on. Quick-n-easy!
I’ve been meaning to start this little series on here for a while, alas TIME is always my biggest downfall - where does it go? Why don’t I have any? Why can’t I put my damn phone down? WHY / HOW is it September already!
With that in mind I know we don’t all always have time to read these newsletters in full - if at all - I do a lot of ‘saving it for later’ for a peaceful moment with a cuppa that sometimes never comes.
So, lets keep it snappy (not my forte I know), this is some quick links (more info less imagery) to click on for all the juicy things I’ve seen / read / consumed / bought / thought / or (been) taught recently.
From fashion to food, all the feels to feel good, interiors to I-think-about-this-all-the-time, reads to recipes to randomness. Grab that copa de vino and enjoy!
HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT….
— White Rabbit Red Rabbit by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour. No rehearsal, no director, a different actor each night and a script waiting in a sealed envelope on stage. Book now it’s selling out!
— Bonnie & the Gang, the coolest jeans for small… or tall. A kidswear brand but I ordered these for myself in an age 16 😂 (which are slightly too big, I’m 5’4, size 8 and yes, 36 years old. I knew I should have gone age 14!).
— Julius Roberts chicken sandwich, this sauce was transformative. And so easy. If you don’t follow him already, DO, you won’t regret it (an angel in the kitchen, a devil in the… isn’t there a saying along those lines?).
— Zara’s Fish Comb. If I needed a comb this would B it.
— Soma’s Leaf, one of my very best cocktails (like a gimlet, but smoother, spicier). So good I even venture to Soho on a Saturday night for this, which, if you know London, is saying something (the Saturday night crowd getting home on the tube becomes a game of ‘avoid the glass, vomit, discarded clothing’. Although we often have so many Leaf’s we end up staying until it has to be a taxi home).
— Mulberry x Rejina Pyo - a genius collaboration; something I think Mulberry have needed to do for a while to get back in the game and appeal to a bit more of a ‘cool crowd’ again (ahh the Alexa days of yore. My era at Mulberry’s buying & merch team).
And I do love this shiny satchel, feels so Mulberry, but slicker, a tad sexier and, well, modern. Exactly what they should B doing.
