Everything I bought last Sunday (hangover shopping is my forte)

Help me decide who should stay or go! We've got shaggy (faux) shearling, supermodel candles, printed velvet, something suede, a Sezane staple, vinyl very nice, Vinted, a bargain belt, joggers & jeans.

How are we all? I hope the week is going swimmingly, the first one in November… I know I keep saying it with every new season, but HOW is it we’re on our penultimate month of the year!

And how is it that I'm already practically spent up for the month and will have to live on beans (and not the delicious Bold Bean Co. variety), oh wait, I know how… my Sunday hangover shopping. That’s how. FML.

Yes, I’m weird, I do this. I don’t know the science behind this hangover habit (if any) but one of my recovery stages is online shopping (and cleaning, I told you, I’m weird).

When we’re not feeling great there’s nothing wrong with a little pick me up (and a Greggs sausage roll) but I tend to become a little obsessed. And it’s usually with something completely rogue that wasn’t even already on my lust list (although some of these do turn out to become my best buys).

It’s as if my brain just doesn’t compute the normal daily functions of sense, sensibility… and restraint (and this is why I should never have an overdraft). The life’s short, ‘fuck it’ side just completely takes over, and frankly, my dears, I don’t give a damn!

That is until I realise I can’t afford life. Thank god for returns.
