Okay some of you may have seen this one if you follow me on Instagram, but I had to start with this for my first Daily Delight as she gets SO much love! This dress has become one of my favorite wardrobe finds…. it really was a delightful surprise I wasn’t looking for and one of my best ever instant purchases!
Dress is past season Ganni at The Outnet - still has some sizes left and what I think is a Ganni bargain at £135. I’m wearing a size 34 as a size 8.
So! Little story behind this one, I saw a girl on the train sat down wearing this, it was busy, I couldn’t get to her, I peered intensely at that amazing orangey red, and then I spotted THAT collar… you can almost feel my intensity now (well, I hope so, here is my upcoming novel ‘The Lust for the Tomato Red Dress on the Train’, bestseller no?). I instantly had to find this dress! But was too far away / people stood in front of us to shout over ‘I love your dress, I urgently need one, WHO IS SHE and where is she from?’ 🤣 .
Then the stylish woman got off the train (with her Wales Bonner clad feet, I’ll B honest, not really my style, but looked amazing with this/on her. And I will have some other trainers I do like, that aren’t Adidas, on here next! Less mainstream, more me).
Anyway! I was bereft! But a quick intense Google search later (be as specific as you can, or try google lens if you have an image) and I found her! My joy as this being a Ganni Outnet find, thus costing less than I imagined, was extreme!
So there you have it, a ‘Daily Delight’ I just had to quickly tell you about (and link for you). For those lovely people who’ve told me as they walk by that they love this dress I hope you see this!
Just to give you a little laugh I have to tell you that someone (on this photo below!) a couple of months ago told me the long collar reminded them of a tongue! We laughed, it was very friendly, and I still find it hilarious now. Wow, how many stories can one dress have!
Thank you, next! x
